Argus Global is a private Australian company with its foundations firmly established in the biometrics industry since 1997. The company specialises in providing software applications which utilise biometric technologies to provide a strong assurance of personal identity.

Argus Global provides proven applications which are now well established in the market place, including access control, time and attendance, visitor management, asset management and key safe management. Argus applications function with any biometric type and are deployed with other tokens such as proximity cards. These applications are delivered through a modular software package called Cornerstone®.

Argus Global is delivering a unique high level interface True Identity Biometric Integration Service (TIBIS) which allows any biometric functionality to be integrated into third party software solutions. TIBIS is successful integrated into various state government departments, and is supporting fingerprinting and iris matching.

The company provides a unique biometric server called AKITA which is able to support any known biometric system. This server, simultaneously manages multiple biometric types (including finger, face and iris), biometric applications and is able to synchronise biometric enrolments and recogntions across diverse sites. AKITA is successfully delivered and operational.

We work directly with our customers from our Australian headquarters in Sydney. We recognise the need to work closely with quality partners and do so to provide complementary technologies and applications which address a variety of law enforcement, security and investigative functions.
